C.H. Robinson has been recognized for its commitment to driving positive social and environmental impact through its community and sustainability initiatives in India.

Earlier this year, the company received the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Innovation & Impact Award, presented at the Bombay Stock Exchange and organized by Times Aspire. The award recognizes organizations that demonstrate innovation, ethical practices, and a sustained commitment to creating meaningful impact within the communities they serve.

In addition, an environmental initiative supported by C.H. Robinson and implemented by nonprofit partner Mukti earned an Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Social Impact Award in the Environmental Sustainability category. The award recognizes the Mukti Green Defense in Sundarbans project, which focuses on ecological restoration in the Sundarbans region of West Bengal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The project includes the planting of mangroves, coconut trees, fruit-bearing trees, and other vegetation to help restore ecological balance while creating economic opportunities for local community members who are employed to maintain and care for the land. The work supports both environmental resilience and long-term livelihoods in a region particularly vulnerable to climate-related challenges.

These recognitions reflect C.H. Robinson’s ongoing focus on supporting community-driven solutions and partnering with organizations that create lasting, local impact. Learn more about our corporate responsibility efforts.
